UCL: Chelsea team news vs Lille

Chelsea will return to action tonight in the Uefa Champions League when they go head to head against French side Lille.

Ahead of the match, the Blues manager in a pre-match news conference on Monday has given an update on his squad.

Tuchel stressed that Cesar Azpilicueta could start on Tuesday night vs Lille as he looks better than Callum Hudson-Odoi during training.

On Mason Mount, the Blues coach revealed that the England international has done individual training and could get a chance to play.

However, Reece James and Ben Chilwell remain on the sideline and are not available to start yet for the Blues.

Tuchel, in his pre-match statement, said, “Azpi looks better than Callum. Azpi trained had no reaction so if it stays like this, he is ok for tomorrow. Mason has done individual training yesterday and perhaps he is involved tomorrow but he has not trained with the team yet.

“Reece is still out and Chilly is out.”

Chelsea will head to the match after their latest win vs Crystal Palace during the weekend.
