Two Chelsea players to be sent out on loan

Amid the summer transfer window, Chelsea are working on sending some of their players out on loan.

A recent report revealed two of the Blues youngsters could find themselves at new clubs next season.

The UK Sun revealed the players as Alfie Gilchrist and Caleb Wiley.

Further reports disclosed that while Gilchrist will head to the Championship for the new season.

The defender is, however, undecided on which club to join, with Sheffield United and Preston reportedly interested in signing him.

Sheffield and Preston are also said to have submitted bids for Gilchrist.

On the other hand, Wiley will complete a transfer to Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.

Recall that the United States star had joined the Blues from Atlanta United.

The deals are expected to be completed before the summer window closes.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still in race for some new signings to join their squad led by newly appointed manager Enzo Maresca ahead of next season.

So far, the west London side have completed some signings as they set to compete for trophies next campaign having finished at the 6th spot last season under former manager Mauricio Pochettino who exited Stamford Bridge on mutual agreement with the club.
