Two Chelsea players make top 5 Ballon d’ Or power ranking

As the World of football is expectant of the player that would win the prestigious Ballon d’Or for this year.

Ahead of the event, the Ballon d’Or power ranking for the month of October has been revealed, and two Chelsea players made the list, namely N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.

A report via Sportskeeda disclosed that Paris Saint-Germain forward and Argentina international, Lionel Messi, is seated at the top of the Ballon d’ Or list.

Messi comes ahead of Bayern Munich striker and Poland forward Robert Lewandowski, and Chelsea’s Jorginho and Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

The report added that Messi won the Pichichi trophy after scoring a total of 30 goals and created 11 assists in 35 La Liga appearances before he moved to French Ligue 1 in the recent summer window.

While Messi won the 2021 Copa America with Argentina, Lewandowski lifted the German Bundesliga title with Bayern, and Jorginho won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Euro 2020.
