Tuchel rested too many players against Arsenal

Former Aston Villa star Gabby Agbonlahor has expressed disappointment at Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel’s football tactics against Arsenal.

Recall that Chelsea hosted Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the EPL, with the game ending in a 4-2 defeat for the Blues.

Reacting to the defeat, Agbonlahor is of the opinion that the Blues manager took Arsenal too lightly leading to the 4-2 thrashing.

The Aston Villa legend criticised Thomas Tuchel’s tactics on talkSPORT, adding that he does not understand the German sometimes.

“I don’t understand Tuchel sometimes. He got it tactically wrong yesterday!

“Tuchel got his tactics wrong, he rested too many players and took #AFC lightly!”

Arsenal recent win against Chelsea have given them an edge of finishing in the top four this season as they are hopeful of playing in the Uefa Champions League next season.

Chelsea, on the other hand still have a good chance of finishing in the top four despite their defeat.

However, their only chance of lifts a trophy this season is by beating Liverpool when they meet in the FA Cup final next month.
