Tuchel reacts as Rangnick takes over at Chelsea
Chelsea manager and Germany international has reacted to the resumption of his fellow countryman Ralf Rangnick as Man Utd new interim coach.
Rangnick was appointed as Man Utd coach after Norway international Ole Solskjaer Gunnar was sacked as coach at Old Trafford.
Tuchel, in a statement, said he has no advice for Rangnick than to congratulate him on his new position at Man Utd.
When asked about Rangnick, Tuchel told reporters: “I haven’t spoken to him.
“If I did I would simply congratulate him, but no one needs advice from me, I have enough to do to get us in the right direction.”
Tuchel started his career as a coach through Rangnick during their time together at SSV Ulm.
Rangnick is expected to remain Man Utd coach for the rest of this season and is expected to lead them to face Crystal Palace in the EPL this weekend.
Tuchel, on the other hand, will lead his squad to face West Ham on Saturday.
The German manager will hope to win all three points vs the Seagulls to maintain their spot on the top of the table.
