Transfer Report: Inter Milan still keen on signing Chelsea star

Inter Milan have not yet surrendered any expectation of signing N’Golo Kante from Chelsea this summer’s transfer window, as per a report.

The Serie A side, overseen by ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, were firmly connected with N’Golo Kante before in the window.

A move seemed, by all accounts, to be off the cards when Frank Lampard recently announced that he has no aim of selling the Frenchman.

Notwithstanding, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport recommends that Antonio Conte is still pushing Inter bosses to test Chelsea’s resolve by making a conventional offer.

A similar report demonstrates that the more extended the Nerazzurri hold off from making an offer, the more uncertain they are to sign the talented defensive midfielder as the Blues will be not able to get a replacement.

N’Golo Kante has had a full influence in Chelsea’s initial two Premier League games – a 3-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion and a 2-0 loss to Liverpool.
