Transfer News: West Ham star could push through a deal as he wants Chelsea return
West Ham United’s Declan Rice is supposedly considering pushing for a move to Chelsea.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is supposed to be resolved to signing the England international before this present summer’s transfer window closes on October 5.
West Ham, however, are said to value the defensive midfielder around £70m – a figure that the Chelsea hierarchy are purportedly not set to meet in the present market.
As per report, Declan Rice has a contract at the London Stadium until June 2024, the 21-year-old could try to force a move to Stamford Bridge over the next few weeks.
The report asserts that the Declan Rice is right now deciding his best strategy and could force his club’s hand by signalling he wants to move.
The England international was released from the Chelsea academy at 14 years old following seven years with the club.
