Transfer News: Chelsea open talks with AC Milan star
Chelsea have directed their concentration toward AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after running into complexities in their quest for Edouard Mendy from Rennes.
The Blues are accepted to be in the market for another shot-stopper in the midst of questions over Kepa Arrizabalaga with Frank Lampard having dropped the Spaniard for Willy Caballero for FA Cup final defeat against Arsenal last season.
Ivisionsport claims Chelsea had plotted a move for Edouard Mendy, but are currently centered around AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma who is into the last year of his contract at the San Siro.
Gianluigi Donnarumma is valued at £50m by the Serie A club with Chelsea as of now in talks over a move for the Italian goalkeeper this summer.
Chelsea have already wrapped up deals for Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva ahead of 2020-21 season.
