Transfer Deal: Chelsea still keen on signing Premier league midfielder

Chelsea supposedly have a firm and long term interest in West Ham United defensive midfielder Declan Rice.

The Premier league giants were firmly connected with their ex-academy player over the summer, however West Ham are accepted to have clarified that they would not consider offers of under £80m.

The Englishman has been in superb form for the Hammers this season, captaining the capital side in their last nine Premier League matches, the 21-year-old is also now a key player for England.

David Moyes’ side have Declan Rice on a contract until the summer of 2024, however as per Goal, Chelsea have a long term interest in the defensive midfielder.

Barcelona target Arsenal and Chelsea defenders

The England international joined Chelsea at seven years old but was released at 14, having failed to make the grade at Stamford Bridge.

Declan Rice has scored multiple times and registered four assists in 120 appearances for his present side.
