Transfer boost: Ecuador midfielder says he is open to joining Chelsea

It is no longer news that Chelsea are keen on signing Brighton midfield star Moises Caicedo this summer transfer window.
Caicedo in a recent statement has revealed the club he would love to join next season.
The Ecuadorian who has handed a transfer boost to the Blues confirmed on Tuesday that he is open to a move to Stamford Bridge.
As of now, the Blues remain in talks with Brighton to sign the midfielder, who they consider a perfect replacement for N’Golo Kante, who left for Saudi Arabia this summer.
The transfer fee for Caicedo seems to be a talking point as Brighton is said to be demanding £100 million-plus for the midfielder from any interested clubs.
When Ecuadorian journalist Maria Jose Flores asked Caidedo about a possible transfer to Chelsea, he said: “It is a big team, that is true.” A very historic team, and I can’t say no because it’s a very big, historic, beautiful team. The city as well is beautiful.”
