Tottenham will accept only cash from any club interested in Kane
Ahead of the summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur have stated in the latest statement that the club would only accept cash only from any club that wants to sign Harry Kane.
Recall that some weeks back, Kane revealed his intention to leave Tottenham over the club’s failure to win a trophy.
Following the England international statement, Premier League topper; Man City, UCL champions; Chelsea as well as UEL finalist, Man Utd had shown interest to add him to their squads.
Man City for one had gone ahead to add the duo of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to the deal to convince Tottenham to let them sign Kane.
However, the latest report revealed that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy wants more than £150m for the England captain and will only accept a cash-only deal.
Levy is determined to add new players to their squad and believes money made from the sales of Kane would be enough to achieve this.
With this, the Hotspurs are not moved by the additions Man City added to their deal.
The Spurs finished at the seventh spot on the Premier League table and have gone without a trophy for the 13th successive year, a move they hope to change next season.
