This player will be Ten Hag’s first signing at Man Utd

A report via the Telegraph UK has revealed the first player prospective Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag will sign when he arrives at the club.

According to the report, Ten Hag will bring with him, Brazilian Ajax winger, Antony to Old Trafford.

Recall that Manchester United hierarchy interviewed Ten Hag a few days ago and their beliefs the Dutch coach is now the frontrunner to take over from Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.

Despite top competition from PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino and Spain head coach, Luis Enrique, the 52-year-old favourite to takeover at Old Trafford next season.

The Telegraph says that ten Hag will bring Anthony with him to Manchester United.

During his interview, the Dutchman asked about Manchester United’s vision and transfer budget.

Antony has scored 10 goals and created 8 assists in 30 appearances in both the Eredivisie and Champions League this season after also creating 17 goal contributions in the league last season.

His performances since swapping Sao Paulo for Amsterdam have earned him plenty of admirers.
