Chelsea
This player is set to leave Chelsea after spending one season
The latest report has revealed that Chelsea are open to selling Hakim Ziyech this summer even though he just spent just a season at Stamford Bridge.
Recall that Ziyech arrived at Chelsea from Ajax last summer when former coach Frank Lampard was still in charge at the club.
However, since Lampard’s departure and Thomas Tuchel taking over as the Blues new manager, the Morocco international has struggled to get a playing spot in the first team.
For this reason, he has been linked with transfer moves away from Chelsea to other clubs where he could get regular playing chances.
Calciomercato reports that several clubs in Italy are interested in the Moroccan winger.
During the just-completed season, Ziyech made 39 appearances across all competitions for the Blues.
While he has managed to score six goals and provided four assists, it looks like Tuchel doesn’t consider him a key player in his starting XI.
Ziyech made 15 Premier League appearances and three in the Champions League, leaving his future in doubt at Stamford Bridge.
He also missed out playing for Chelsea in the two semi-final legs against Real Madrid and the final in Porto against Manchester City in the Uefa Champions League
Italian clubs, Napoli and AC Milan are said to be monitoring the situation and could submit a bid for him when the transfer window commences.
