This Chelsea midfielder could leave amid takeover at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea midfielder and Italy international Jorginho may be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of this season.
This comes amid the change over that could take place in the West London club in a matter of days.
Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has finally accepted to sell Chelsea amid the Russian Ukraine war.
It is believed that the change in ownership at Chelsea could affect Jorginho’s stay in the club who has formed a solid partnership with Kante at the midfield since moving to Chelsea from Napoli.
The reports claimed that the 30-year-old has one eye on a return to Italy amid the new uncertainty in west London.
Football Italia state that with the midfielder’s contract up in 2023, the club would be willing to sell Jorginho in the summer to avoid losing him on a free year.
While Jorginho could be offered a new deal at Chelsea, his age would determine how long it would be, especially under new management.
Aside from Jorginho, there are claims that Chelsea could lose more players this summer.
