They are playing like a Championship team – Chelsea told to sack Lampard

Frank Lampard’s return to Chelsea has been marred with defeat and there are already calls for him to be sacked even though he was signed on an interim basis.

Former Tottenham midfielder, Jamie O’Hara in a recent statement has criticised Lampard’s style of game as he said the Blues were playing like a Championship club.

O’Hara also called on Chelsea owners led by Todd Boehly to sack Lampard without further delay.

Recall that Lampard returned to Stamford Bridge on an interim basis for the rest of the season following the sack of Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter.

So far, the Blues have suffered their sixth straight defeat under Lampard with a 3-1 loss at Arsenal on Tuesday night being the latest.
