Ten Hag says this defender can leave or stay

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said the club’s defender Harry Maguire has the option of leaving or staying at Old Trafford next season.

Recall that Maguire lost his place in the Red Devils starting squad last season and ahead of the new season, he has been stripped of the captaincy, with Bruno Fernandes taking his place as the club’s new skipper.

So far, Maguire has been linked to West Ham, who saw their £20million offer for the England defender rejected last week.

Aside form the Hammers, there is also interest in Maguire from Tottenham Hotspur.
