Ten Hag reacts to 1-0 win vs Wolves

Manchester United started their Premier League season with an opener vs Wolves on Monday.

The game which saw Man Utd defeat Wolves in a 1-0 scoreline saw the Red Devils manager, Erik ten Hag praised his side’s resilience during the match.

The Red Devils had a tough time during most of the game as the visitors threatened to pull off an unexpected result at Old Trafford.

However, the Red Devils were saved thanks to Raphael Varane’s header in the second half, which gave them a lone goal.

Ten Hag in a post-match statement told BBC Sport: “It can be better. We can play better. But we’re very pleased with the win.

“The opposition were dynamic. We have to match that. We had to fight for our points.

“There is no easy game in the Premier League and definitely not Wolves. They’re a tough team and we did really well. You have to fight in every game.

“We hope we’ll be better on the ball in the next game.”
