Former Arsenal star Gilberto Silva has applauded Kai Havertz for his improvement through the course of this season.
According to Silva, the 24-year-old German star has been brilliant for the Gunners as he described him as a team player.
Recall that the Gunners signed Havertz from Premier League rival Chelsea last summer.
The Germany star initially played the role of a midfielder under manager Mikel Arteta and occasionally played as a centre-forward.
During this period, the for Blues player struggled at Emirates Stadium, scoring just one goal and creating one assist in his first 12 Premier League games for Arsenal.
Silva while speaking via The Boot Room said Havertz is playing a different role from what he normally did in the past, but he’s been brilliant at it.
It is believe that players who join Arsenal from Chelsea usually struggle at the North London club because their style of game is different.
Silva pointed out that it was a little bit difficult for Havertz at the start and also for Arteta to find his best position.
The former Gunners star added Arteta was however, able to find the perfect position slowly and patience.
