Sterling speaks about one trophy he wants to win for Chelsea
Chelsea summer signing Raheem Sterling has said the Uefa Champions League trophy is the one cup he wants to lift with the Blues.
The Blues won the Champions for the second time in 2020-21, a trophy Sterling has never won as Man City have never lifted the highly rated European trophy.
While Pep Guardiola has lifted domestic leagues, he has been unable to guide Sterling’s former club, Manchester City to win in the UEFA competition thus far.
Sterling during his stay at Man City won four Premier League titles, four league cups and FA Cup as a key player at the club.
“I haven’t played Champions League football with Chelsea yet. They have obviously won it. I haven’t. They have got bragging rights,” the England international told the English press on Thursday.
“But again, I am here to try to win it. I don’t know if I am better off here or there [at Man City] – it is not really my fault.
“I will just go out and try to help the team as I do every season.”
