Serie A legend hails this Chelsea target

Giuseppe Savoldi, a former top scorer in the Italian Serie A has shared his opinion about Napoli star Victor Osimhen.

Savoldi in his statement applauded Osimhen for his consistency over the years for the Naples.

As of now, the Nigeria forward is rated by fans and football pundits alike as one of the finest strikers in European football.

Recall that Osimhen finished as the Serie A top scorer last season and is hoping to ended this season strongly, having been dealt a great blow with injury worries.

So far this season, Osimhen has scored four goals in his last five Serie A matches to take his tally to 15.

Savoldi while speaking on Radio Marte via Area Napoli said Osimhen beyond his characteristics and comparisons, is a sensational player, a driving force; who always makes a difference when on the pitch.

Recalling Osimhen’s impressive performance last season, Savoldi said Osimhen was everywhere on the pitch which help Napoli shine.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian star has been linked with moves away from Napoli this summer, with Chelsea named as one of the top clubs willing to sign him.

Another club on the list is PSG who want Osimhen as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
