Sancho banished from Man Utd’s first team training
Manchester United player Jadon Sancho has been ordered to train away from the club’s first team on a “personal training programme” pending a resolution of a “squad discipline issue.”
This was made public in a statement issued by the club in an official statement on Thursday.
Recall that the Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag left out Sancho from his matchday squad for the trip to Arsenal on September 3.
In a post-match statement, Ten Hag explained that he dropped Sancho from the squad due to his poor attitude in training.
However, that same day, Sancho took to social media to defend himself as he claimed he had been “a scapegoat for a long time” and said Ten Hag’s claims were “completely untrue.”
This is not the first time the former Dortmund star will be excluded from Man United training under Ten Hag.
Last season, the winger underwent an individual fitness programme in the Netherlands that saw him watch the World Cup from afar.
