Ronaldo’s return predicted to have a negative effect at Man Utd

The return of Cristiano Ronaldo has been met with excitement and hope from many, especially Man Utd fans, who are hoping he would help them challenge the likes of Man City, Liverpool and others to win the EPL this season.

Many football pundits and former football stars have predicted the Portuguese star to impact the Red Devils squad positively.

However, former Liverpool star and pundit Jammie Carragher has claimed Ronaldo would have a negative impact at Old Trafford.

He noted that he has never seen so many ex-Manchester United players almost looking love-struck by the sign of Cristiano Ronaldo because it’s a huge moment for them.

“He is one of the greatest players of all time, no doubt, but I actually think it may have a negative effect on Manchester United,” Carragher added during a call promoting CBS’ coverage of the UCL in the U.S.

We will have to wait till the end of the season to see how Ronaldo has impacted the Res Devils squad.

He is expected to start this weekend during their game vs Newcastle United.
