Ronaldo wants Chelsea defender at Al Nassr

Chelsea will have to fend off interest for their defender Marc Cucurella in the summer transfer window.

Cucurella, who struggled to impress after joining the Blues from Brighton, however, improved last season, putting him in the limelight.

A recent report via Fichajes has linked the Spain international to the Saudi Pro League where he could join Al Nassr.

The report alleged that Al-Nassr are ready to table a bid worth €70m (£60.74m) for the Blues defender.

Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have specifically inform the Saudi Pro League club to make a move to sign Cucurella this summer.

Ronaldo, who recently penned a new contract at the Saudi club, allegedly wants them to considered the Spaniard as a priority signing.

Recall that Chelsea have were in talks with Al Nassr for Joao Felix to make a permanent switch to the Middle East.

While Felix is up for sale, Al Nassr will, however, face difficulty to get the Blues approval to sign Cucurella, even with just three years left on his current contract.

The Saudi club will have to make a more substantial offer to make Chelsea consider parting ways with Cucurella.
