Ronaldo vs Messi: Chelsea’s new signing Mudryk names his idol

Chelsea’s latest signing, Mykhaylo Mudryk has named Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo as his idol.

According to Mudryk, he adores the former Real Madrid star because of his mentality.

After Chelsea completed moves for the Ukrainian forward, he was unveiled at Stamford Bridge before their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Recall that the West London side hijacked the deal for Mudryk when it appeared he was heading to Arsenal.

In an interview with Chelsea’s official website, the Ukraine international was asked about several topics.

One of the questions was whom he idolized as a player while growing up.

The Ukrainian said, “It was Ronaldo, I like his mentality.”

In another report, Ronaldo, who was linked with moves to Chelsea last summer has gone on to join Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr after he parted ways with Man Utd following his explosive interview towards the end of last year.
