Robert Lewandowski rules out moves to Liverpool, Man City and others
Bayern Munich striker and Poland international Robert Lewandowski has ruled out transfer moves to other top-flight European clubs.
Recall that Lewandowski had been linked with moves to Liverpool, Man City and Real Madrid.
The Polish striker, however, stressed in the latest statement disclosed he has nothing to prove by moving to other leagues.
He added that his commitment is to Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski, while addressing the media after collecting the European Golden Shoe, said: “I don’t have to prove myself in another league.”
He added he could compete with the best from other leagues in the Champions League as he remains 100 per cent focused on Bayern Munich.
“I don’t think about anything else but my team. I am still here – and I will be here for a long time,” he added.
On his age, Lewandowski declared that they are just numbers, and he feels very good and has the best stats he has ever had.
“I know that with my body, I can play at the top level for years to come. I’m like a good wine, and I hope to get even better,” the Polish striker said.
So far this season, Lewandowski already has 11 goals from seven appearances in all competitions to his name.
