Rice names player that impressed him at Arsenal

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has named one player that has impressed him at Emirates Stadium since he arrived at the club this summer.

Recall Rice moved to Arsenal in a deal worth £105 million this summer transfer window.

Since joining Arsenal, Rice has lifted the Community Shield with the Gunners and helped them win their first league game of the season against Nottingham Forest.

The English midfielder appears to be establishing good relationships with his teammates already as he revealed during an interview with Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, on TNT Sports,  the player who has surprised him the most among his new teammates.

“The one who [has impressed me the most] – when we were away in America [for pre-season], never seen someone so sharp in training – is Martinelli.

“He’s so sharp, he is, honestly. I feel like Martinelli is faster [than Bukayo Saka] in a sprint. 100%. Those two on the wings are frightening.”
