Reports: Man City will not sign Harry Kane this summer if a deal for Grealish is completed
Manchester City are yet to sign a replacement for Sergio Aguero and their top target is still Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.
Harry Kane’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur has been monitored by clubs across Europe and the star strikers’ desire to leave have prompted a move from Manchester City.
However, Manchester City have not been able to agree a deal with Tottenham Hotspur who believes Kane can still be convinced to stay at the club.
With Manchester City also linked with Aston Villa captain, Jack Grealish, reports have claimed Kane will not be joining City if his England teammate completes the move first.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Pep Guardiola’s chances of having the two stars in his squad is not feasible this summer.
The report claims that a move for Harry Kane will not be financially viable.
Manchester City will need to break the British transfer record for a second time in quick succession to sign Kane if Grealish is signed for a fee of £100m.
Harry Kane is valued in the region of £160m and they are reports that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not ready to do business with any club that’s not ready to meet the price tag.
