Current Champions League winner, Chelsea were reportedly willing to pay Inter Milan a whopping €130m for Romelu Lukaku.

Despite winning the UEFA Champions League last season and reaching the FA Cup final, Chelsea struggled to score consistently as they were guilty of missing clear chances.

Timo Werner who was brought in from RB Leipzig failed to hit the ground running as Thomas Tuchel was forced to use false nine in the latter part of the season.

With Oliver Giroud’s move to AC Milan done and dusted, Abraham is reportedly on the verge of moving to Arsenal, a move that mean the blues need a striker.

However, Chelsea’s pursuit of their former player Romelu Lukaku hit the rock when. Inter Milan’s chairman revealed that the Belgium international is not for sale.

A new report from Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, has now revealed how Chelsea tried to convince Inter Milan into selling their star forward.

According to Pedulla, Chelsea are prepared splash €130m on Lukaku but Inter have no intention of even listening to proposals for the Belgium international.

The blues are also interested in signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, however, the 21 years old might not be leaving Bundesliga this summer.
