Real Madrid Target Liverpool and Chelsea Midfielders in £60m Transfer Hunt

Real Madrid are reportedly exploring potential signings in the Premier League, with Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai and Chelsea’s Moises Caicedo emerging as possible targets.

Los Blancos have made an impressive start to the La Liga season, winning ten of their opening 12 matches, including a notable 2-1 victory over arch-rivals Barcelona in the El Clasico at the end of October. Their strong league form has seen them sit three points clear at the top of the table.

However, Real Madrid recently suffered a setback in the Champions League, losing to Premier League champions Liverpool despite winning their previous three group-stage matches. The defeat has not dampened speculation that the Spanish giants could pursue Szoboszlai, the Hungary international they signed from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £60 million.

Former Liverpool midfielder Igor Biscan believes Real Madrid could leverage their financial power and squad ambitions to secure Szoboszlai’s services. Speaking to BoyleSports, Biscan said: “Real Madrid might be interested in Dominik Szoboszlai because his qualities are exceptional. He has the ability to perform at the highest level and can integrate into any top team in the world.”

While no official bids have been confirmed, the potential interest in Szoboszlai and Caicedo highlights Real Madrid’s ongoing strategy of strengthening their squad with versatile, high-quality talent. The coming transfer windows could see the club actively pursuing players capable of maintaining their domestic dominance and bolstering their chances in Europe.
