PSG reportedly eyeing Chelsea defender
According to the recent reports, French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint Germain PSG have been linked with moves for Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger.
So far since Thomas Tuchel took over at Stamford Bridge, Rudiger has become a key player playing in every of their matches.
His contract with the Blues is expected to lapse in the next 12 months but UCL champions are hoping to keep at the club.
They have reportedly offered him a new deal that could see his contract extended, but the defender was said to have turned down the offer.
Owing to the uncertainty that lies in his future at Stamford Bridge, Le 10 Sport in a recent report claimed PSG are keeping a close tab on the situation at Chelsea with a view to signing Rudiger as a free agent in the summer of 2022.
Recall that PSG made some high-profile free transfer in the recent summer transfer window signing the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum for free.
It is however uncertain if Chelsea will let Rudiger leave following his impact in the team.
So far, the Germany international has made a total of 153 appearances for the Blues since joining them in 2017.
