Premier League Giants Pursue Serhou Guirassy as Stuttgart Offers ‘Bargain Price’
Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea are vying for the signature of Serhou Guirassy this summer, with Stuttgart indicating he could be available at a reduced price.
Guirassy had a standout season, scoring 30 goals in 30 appearances for Stuttgart, propelling them to a second-place finish in the Bundesliga behind unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen led by Xabi Alonso.
His impressive goal-scoring record has caught the attention of top clubs across Europe, particularly in the Premier League.
According to Bild, Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs competing for Guirassy, alongside AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, highlighting his status as a highly sought-after player.
Manchester United also hold a keen interest, while Bayern Munich has reportedly stepped back from the race following Harry Kane’s stellar debut season in Germany.
Reportedly available for €18-20 million (£15-17 million), Guirassy is considering a move to enhance his current €3 million per year (£2.5 million per year) salary at MHPArena.
However, with two years left on his contract, Stuttgart chairman Alexander Wehrle downplayed rumors, stating Guirassy feels content and valued at the club, especially with their upcoming Champions League campaign influencing his decision-making process.
“Wehrle’s comments suggest a thoughtful approach to Guirassy’s situation at Stuttgart, emphasizing his pivotal role and contentment at the club, particularly with the allure of Champions League football ahead.”
