Potter speaks on Malo’s presence at Cobham

Chelsea manager Graham Potter has opened up on the presence of Malo Gusto at Cobham despite being signed to French club Lyon on loan for the rest of the season.

Recall that Chelsea completed moves for Malo Gusto in January from Lyon and loaned him back until the end of the season.

However, Gusto is currently at Cobham working to recover from an injury suffered while representing the French club.

Potter in a pre-statement before the Blues’ weekend game vs Southampton in the EPL said Gusto is only at Cobham for rehabilitation, adding that it was nice go meet him in person.

‘Malo’s just here to help with his rehab, the club made that decision,’ confirmed Potter. ‘But it’s nice to meet him, nice to see him in person around here. But we’re just trying to help him get fit.’
