Potter speaks on James and Pulisic availability vs Dortmund
Ahead of the Blues UCL 2nd leg game vs Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, manager Graham Potter spoke about the availability of Reece James and Christian Pulisic.
James was absent during Chelsea’s game vs Leeds United last weekend and it was due to a tight hamstring, Pulisic, on the other hand, hasn’t featured since January because of a knee problem.
Speaking in a pre-match statement, Potter hinted that the decision about James playing would be made on Tuesday, while he confirmed that Pulisic made it to the squad.
‘Reece we’ll make a decision on tomorrow,’ confirmed Potter.
‘Christian is in the squad. He’s training well and looking good.’
Chelsea head to the match after they managed to defeat Leeds United in the EPL last weekend, they would hope to defeat the German club tonight and move to the next stage of the UCL tournament which seems to be their only hope of playing in Europe next season.
