Potter speaks on his sack at Chelsea
Chelsea manager, Graham Potter has stated he cannot rely on the support of the club co-owner Todd Boehly forever.
Potter made this known while speaking after the Blues lost 2-0 at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The outcome of the match didn’t change the Blues’ spot on the Premier League table as they remain on the 10th spot.
Boehly has taken side with Potter since he hired him as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked in September.
But two wins in their last 15 games has left the former Brighton manager under intense pressure.
“I take full responsibility for the results and it isn’t good enough for Chelsea.
“We want to try and improve it and if results aren’t good enough, which they aren’t at the moment, you can’t rely on support forever that’s for sure,” Potter said.
Chelsea will now focus on their next match against Leeds United.
