Pochettino speaks on these two players playing against Blackburn Rovers
Chelsea were without Enzo Fernandez and Mykhailo Mudryk during their last weekend game vs Brentford which ended in a 2-0 loss.
The two players were in line to play against the Bees at Stamford Bridge but suffered ‘small muscle injuries’ in a training session at Cobham.
This forced Pochettino and his staff into a late reshuffle – and is the reason why two goalkeepers were named among the Chelsea substitutes.
‘We lost yesterday Mudryk and Enzo in the last moment,’ Pochettino explained after the Blues disappointing 2-0 defeat.
However, Pochettino is hoping the two players will be available when they take on Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

The Blues boss is hopeful Fernandez and Mudryk will be able to feature as they bid to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.
‘I think both have a chance,’ Pochettino explained, ‘but we need to assess in the next few days.’
