Pep Guardiola named best Manager

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has been named the best manager for this season.

He was handed the award by the League Manager Association following his performance this season.

Guardiola led Man City to their 3rd EPL title this season and also won the Carabao cup.

He is also on his way to win the UEFA Champions League trophy. Guardiola will lead his Man City squad to the final to battle it out with Chelsea at Porto in Portugal.

Guardiola while reacting to the award handed to him revealed how delighted he is to receive the award, having received it before.

“I am delighted to win the LMA Manager of the year award for the second time.

“It is, for me, such a special trophy to win because it is voted for by my fellow managers.

An award like this is only possible though if a manager is surrounded by top professionals,” Guardiola, who previously won it in 2017/2018, said.

If Guardiola can win the UCL final vs. Chelsea, he would become the Citizens first coach to ever win the prestigious title for the club.

Over the years Guardiola has turned out to be one of the most respected coaches not just in the EPL but Europe at large.
