Pedro Neto speaks after being unveiled by Chelsea

Chelsea’s newest signing, Pedro Neto has reacted to his transfer to the English Premier League club.

Pedro in a statement expressed how grateful he was to sign for the west London club.

Recall that on Sunday, the Blues officially announced the signing of Neto from Premier League club Wolves, spurring excitement from fans.

According to the reports, the 24-year-old penned a seven-year deal with Enzo Maresca’s led Blues side.

Pedro is expected to resume training with his new teammates at Cobham in the coming days.

In a statement via Chelsea’s official website, Pedro said he felt really grateful to have joined the Blues.

He added that he has worked really hard in his career to be at Stamford Bridge and he is looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw in in their last pre-season game against Inter Milan.

The Blues led by Maresca will return to action next weekend in the Premier League as they play against current champions Manchester City led by manager Pep Guardiola in their first game of the season.

Hopefully, Chelsea’s summer signing will get a chance to start when they face the Citizens who had a silent transfer window.
