Palmer sends message to teammates after 2-2 draw Vs Burnley
Chelsea star Cole Palmer has reacted to their recent 2-2 draw against Burnley in their first Premier League game after the international break.
The Blues were held down at Stamford Bridge to a 2-2 draw against Burnley as shared the spoils with the visitors, who played most of the second half with 10 men.
Palmer who was impressive during the match, scored two goals against the Clarets, but was furious with his teammates.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Palmer said: “It’s poor; it can’t happen. Especially when they go down to 10 men. The changing room is really down.
“When we went down to 10 men, we were 1-0 up and just got too comfortable. Same story, we kill ourselves every week.
“It’s got to improve from us as players. We had many chances and then that time we defended soppy. It’s very disappointing.”
