Nunez tipped to be available vs Chelsea

Liverpool will on Saturday host Chelsea at Anfield in the Premier League in a match that has been speculated to be a tough one.

Ahead of the match, Liverpool may have been handed an injury boost as their star player Darwin Nunez has been tipped to be available for their Premier League meeting with Chelsea.

Manager Jurgen Klopp also confirmed it during his pre-match conference on Friday.

Recall that the striker was forced to miss the contests away at Brighton & Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers due to injury.

But when asked on Friday whether Nunez is ‘closer for selection’, Klopp told his pre-match press conference: “Yes.”

This is a massive boost for Liverpool who like Chelsea have been struggling this season especially due to their injured players.

The Reds will hope to win all three points vs Chelsea, who head to the game after their recent 1-0 win vs Crystal Palace last weekend.
