Not injured: Pochettino reveals this player could start vs Nottingham Forest
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed Levi Colwill could be available for the Blues when they take on Nottingham Forest this weekend in the Premier League.
Colwill who played during the Blues’ midweek games vs. the AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao League had limped off the pitch during the match.
Chelsea were able to emerge winners in a 2-1 scoreline thanks to goals from Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandes.
Colwill was seen applauding the fans with ice strapped to his ankle as he left the pitch, further adding fear to the situation.
However, Pochettino in a post-match statement has eased any fears by stating that he is likely to be available for the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
He said: “No, he’s not injured. It’s not a big issue, small problem. He got ice on his ankle but it’s not going to be a problem for the weekend.”
