Nkunku’s best position revealed

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino in a recent statement has revealed Christian Nkunku’s best position.

Recall that Nkunku only made his debut for the Blues last week after he joined them from RB Leipzig.

He scored his first goal for the Premier League side last week as they lost 2-1 at Wolves.

Ahead of Chelsea’s next away game vs Crystal Palace this midweek, Pochettino has spoken on the player’s role in his squad.

He said: “I think his best position is more like a 10 or a 9, more than the left or right side like a winger.

“He is now starting to understand the Premier League, that teams are very aggressive and the football is very different to other countries.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea will hope to bounce back with a win after their defeat to Wolves last weekend.

The Blues are currently at the 10th spot on the league table.
