Neymar tipped to join Chelsea

A report via Le10Sport revealed Chelsea are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible deal to sign Neymar from French side PSG.

Following Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami, Neymar has been named as another player who could leave the Ligue 1 champions this summer.

Recall that the Brazil star’s season ended early due to an ankle injury in February during which he had scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists in 29 appearances.

However, he has largely failed to live up to PSG expectations and was a target of criticism from the club’s fans.

With Chelsea in need of a new forward, they have opened negotiations with PSG, after the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle had shown interest to sign him.

Spanish club Barcelona are also said to have joined the race to sign their former star.

The Blues’ new manager Mauricio Pochettino, could look forward to a reunion with Neymar, who he managed during the coach’s stint at PSG in the 2021-22 campaign.
