Napoli made a right decision swapping Osimhen with former Chelsea star

Former Napoli striker, German Denis has opined that the Italian club made a right descision swapping Victor Osimhen with former Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku.

According to Denis, Lukaku is a better fit for the club this season than Osimhen.

Recall that why Lukaku moved to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this summer transfer window on a permanent transfer from Chelsea.

Osimhen completed a transfer to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.

So far, Lukaku has settled down well at the Naples, contributing immensely to the club’s surge to the top of the Serie A league table.

Denis in a statement on Radio Kiss Kiss said he saw a Lukaku in form, even if manager Antonio Conte knows perfectly well what he lacks.

According to Denis, Lukaku who he called generous, is a team player, recalling how he recorded two assists as an attacking midfielder.

Comparing Lukaku to Osimhen, Denis said he doesn’t know if Osimhen would have been as suitable for Napoli as the Belgian striker is with Conte.

According to Denis, Napoli made the right choice letting Osimhen leave and bringing in Conte as his replacement.
