Mourinho eyes Rudger, Loftus-Cheek and others

Former Chelsea coach and Portugal international Jose Mourinho may be out to raid the English Premier League in the January transfer window.

This comes as Mourinho, who is the current manager at Italian club AS Roma, is set to sign some players from Chelsea and Tottenham.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho is trying to sign Chelsea pair Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, as well as Tottenham’s Harry Winks.

This means AS Roma could be Rudiger’s next club as he is yet to reach a new agreement with the Blues

The German defender contract with Chelsea is set to run out at the end of this season, and so far, he has been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, among others.

While Rudiger may be willing to leave Chelsea next summer transfer window, the same can’t be said of Loftus-Cheek, who is beginning to gain more prominence in the Thomas Tuchel’s led squad.

Recall that Mourniho took over as Roma manager during the summer and went on to sign Tammy Abraham from Stamford Bridge.
