Mikel Arteta provides update on star forward injury ahead of clash against Man. City
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the injury of Bukayo Saka ahead of his team clash with Premier League champion, Manchester City.
The Gunners are set to face Manchester City this weekend after losing their two Premier League match.
Arsenal came back stronger last night as they put six past championship side West Brom in their Carabao Cup 2nd round.
Bukayo Saka was among the goal scorer with
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hat-trick added to goals from Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette ensured Mikel Arteta has a breathing space.
However, Bukayo Saka suffered a potential injury in the dying embers of the game.
Though he was not substituted, Saka was spotted limping at the end of the game as the Arsenal players went to thank their travelling supporters.
Questioned about Saka’s injury today, Arteta stated that he think the England international got hit knee to knee.
Arteta added that the injury was sore, Saka was limping and he does not know how he’s going to be. Hopefully he’s going to be OK.
Saka has been an important player under Mikel Arteta and he will be eager to play in the team match against Manchurian City.
