Mason Mount hails Chelsea’s new signing

Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount seemed to be impressed by the new forward in the person of Raheem Sterling, who joined the Blues from Man City this summer.

Warner went on to hail Sterling’s attitude in training.

Sterling opted to join Chelsea from rivals Manchester City this summer in order to secure regular playing time and establish himself in the England national team ahead of the World Cup in November.

“Sterling’s a winner, I’ve said that before. Every time you train with him – that will to win – if you play a little game of five-a-side or it’s a 10v10, he’s there and he wants to score,” he told Sky Sports.

“That’s just who he is. And he’s just fitted in so perfectly with the group.

“I know him so well so I knew he’d buy in straight away and he’s done that. He’s looked very good and it’s obviously exciting for us to have him here and see what we can achieve in the future.

“For both parties I think it’s going to work brilliantly. It’s on the right foot straight away. We are very excited for him to be here.

“There’s a good mix of us here, so I feel we are on the right track.”
