Manchester United suffer blow as Chelsea target not keen on Premier League move

Ousmane Dembele is supposedly not keen on leaving Barcelona to join Premier League top clubs during this current summer’s transfer window.

The Frenchman has been a regular for Barcelona during the 2020-21 campaign, playing in all competitions, scoring 10 times and making four assists in the process.

The 23-year-old’s contract at Camp Nou is expected to lapse next June, however, Manchester United continue to be firmly connected with his services ahead of the forthcoming market.

The Red Devils were believed to be close to signing the World Cup winner on loan the previous summer, just for the Catalan giants to reassess a proposed move to Old Trafford.

As per Mundo Deportivo, the France international knows about the interest from Manchester United but doesn’t have any desire to leave Ronald Koeman’s side ahead of next season.

The report asserts that Barcelona see signing the attacker to another deal as a priority, and the ex-Rennes youngster will definitely wait for a proposal from the club.

Ousmane Dembele, who is also accepted to attracting consideration from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus, has netted 29 times and registered 20 assists in 110 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions.

It remains to be seen if the France international would join Manchester United next season.
