Manchester United set to complete the signature of experience defender this week

Manchester United fans finally had the pleasure of seeing Jadon Sancho attend his first training session at the club some hours ago and it might be the turn of Raphael Varane this week.

Varane is yet to complete his move from Real Madrid having had to self isolate for some period of time before joining his teammates.

The 28-year-old is currently quarantining in a house owned by the club reserved for new signings and he has been spotted keeping fit.

A new report from The Manchester Evening News has now claimed that Varane’s transfer is set to be completed this week.

If the transfer is completed as scheduled, the former Real Madrid defender might be making his debut in United’s Premier League opener against Leeds.

Manchester United have been tipped as the favourite to win the Premier League this season with the depth in their squad.
