Manchester United identifies fellow Premier League target as Pogba’s replacement
Manchester United are preparing for life after Paul Pogba and they’ve reportedly identified Lyon’s Houssem Aouar as his replacement.
Paul Pogba has continued to be linked with a move out of Old Trafford with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid willing to sign the world cup winner.
The Frenchman is also reportedly willing to move on from Manchester United, with Bruno Fernandez taking the limelight ever since he joined from Benfica.
However, United’s top target have also been linked with a host of Premier League side
including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
According to a recent report from ESPN, Houssem Aouar is a top target for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently leading the race to sign the highly-rated playmaker.
Arsenal offered €40m for Aouar last summer but failed to secure his signature, but United will be willing to do better than if Pogba eventually leaves this summer.
Aouar will be a great addition to any side he joins as he has featured in 170 senior matches, in all competitions, for Lyon and has directly contributed to 63 goals.
