Manchester City top target reportedly want to complete move to Etihad this summer

The England international returned to training this week and many fans believe this shows his dedication to Aston Villa.

However, The Athletic’s Man City correspondent Sam Lee has revealed on The Athletic Football Podcast that City are closing in on Villa’s captain.

According to Sam Lee, the bid has been made and it should trigger this agreement, Grealish still wants to make the move and there were delays for various reasons.

Jack Grealish has become an important player in Aston Villa and some fans were spotted at the club training ground begging him not to sign for Manchester City.

Manchester City are willing to sign either Harry Kane or Jack Grealish this summer as they tend to retain the Premier League they won in style last season.
